References should be written as surname, initials, year (in brackets), journal name in full, volume, and pages. Poster size and file formats accepted.  Poster size is standard A0 (841 x 1189 mm). Portrait is preferred to landscape profile. In order that successfully submitted posters can be published in the LASA Forum or posted on the LASA website after the event, the following electronic format is advised:

  • PDF (Adobe Portable Document Format) file. This is the preferred file format, especially if the poster file was created under other computer platforms apart from Windows. Please also make sure that the size of the poster is set to the correct required size.
  • Microsoft Word. Please embed all picture files, figures and graphs in the documents. This is to prevent any images missing when printing. Also use high quality pixel pictures and figures etc. if possible so that the images, when printed out, do not become blurred. You can view the actual size of the poster and check all the images under Print Preview option.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint. Please embed all picture files, figures and graphs in the documents. This is to prevent any images missing when printing.
